Brandi Ross Accident, Buffalo, NY – Family and Friends Rally Around Her Fight for Recovery

Brandi Ross, the youngest daughter of Adam and Karen Ross and sister to Brooke and Adam Jr., is facing a long and difficult road to recovery following a life-altering accident in Buffalo, New York.

On the morning of August 11, 2026, Brandi had left the gym and was on her way to work when she was involved in an accident that resulted in a traumatic brain injury. She was rushed to Erie County Medical Center (ECMC), where doctors in the ICU Trauma Unit determined that emergency brain surgery was necessary.

Surgeons performed a craniectomy, partially removing a section of Brandi’s skull to relieve dangerous pressure on her brain. Following the procedure, she spent several weeks in a coma and on a ventilator. Her family says she has faced serious complications and medical challenges that doctors are continuing to work through.

Brandi remains in critical care in the Trauma ICU at ECMC and is currently battling meningitis, a serious brain infection. Doctors have determined that once she is stable enough, she will require two additional delicate surgeries. Because of the severity of her injuries, neurology doctors anticipate that she may remain hospitalized until February 2027.

Throughout this difficult period, Adam, Karen, Brooke and AJ have remained dedicated to being at Brandi’s side during visiting hours. Alongside the emotional uncertainty surrounding her recovery, the family is also facing growing medical and living expenses.

A fundraiser is seeking financial support to help cover immediate medical and hospital expenses, long-term rehabilitation, specialized equipment and medications, as well as everyday bills and living costs. The family is also asking people to share the fundraiser with others.
